B&B – Castellammare Del Golfo

The hotel is located in the very center of the historic town of Castellammare Del Golfo, close to the ancient Emporium Segestanorum a few dozen meters from Cala Marina in one of the most beautiful panoramic positions with an amazing view of the Bay of Castellammare, the Arab castle and the ancient fishing village.

In a few minutes you can reach charming places and enjoy natural beauty such as the Zingaro nature reserve, Faraglioni Scopello or bathing in the hot springs of "Terme Segestane", places of rich diversity in the field of art and history such as Palermo, Erice, Segesta , Monreale, Archaeological Park of Selinunte and Trapani.

The home “Tannur” is renovated from an old residential building. The Arabic name "Tannur" in translation means "furnace" which was discovered during construction, it is an ancient wood -burning stove, carefully restored and extended, visible in one of the rooms.

The structure consists of five rooms with a balcony or terrace (each room has a sea view) and a large common terrace with a wonderful view of the Bay of Castellammare.

The style is typically Mediterranean, each room is in a different color and equipped with non-standard furniture. The materials used are the result of a long and patient collection of original Sicilian majolicas used in a unique way, the floors are partly made of old "Balate", i.e. travertine slabs, and partly made of cement and resin. The architecture is dominated by Mediterranean colors: white walls, blue shutters and sand-colored floors.

A buffet breakfast is offered from the early morning hours, the flavors and smells of Sicilian products make your stay unique and unique.
Typical local products are offered, such as "pane cunzatu" (bread cut lengthwise and seasoned with: oil, salt, oregano, chopped tomato, cheese flakes and anchovies, then reassembled and divided into several parts), "arancine" ( fried rice ball or cone with minced meat seasoned in tomato sauce and green peas or stuffed with ham and mozzarella ) , "cassatelle" (very sweet fried dumplings stuffed with ricotta cheese), fresh seasonal fruit, granite ( water - based ice cream)  served with a sweet roll .
